We’re on the hunt for inspiring speakers for Job Boards Connect 2024
We are looking for speakers to inspire, educate and share their knowledge, ideas and solutions with our audience. Could that be you?
We focus on the issues most relevant to today’s Job Board professionals. Providing stimulating new thinking and inspiring action in its attendees with solutions for their problems – both present ones as well as those that will come up soon enough!
To be considered for a speaking opportunity on 16th May please fill out the Speaker Application Form. If you think we’ve missed an important topic, you can let us know on the application form too. Submissions close on the 8th March 2024.
What is Job Boards Connect Unplugged? It’s a one-day collaborative event where attendees engage in informal expert-led relevant industry topics. Parallel sessions allow attendees to choose the topic most important to their job role. More information here.

UK Job Postings Fall Below Pre-Pandemic Levels
January job postings on Indeed only increased by 0.2% in 2024, much less than the pre-pandemic jump of 11.3% in 2020, and below the 3.4% rise in 2023. That leaves job postings down 5% on their 1 February 2020, pre-pandemic baseline. FE News reports on and analyses the figures from Indeed’s data.

NYC Crackdown on Job Ads’ Pay Ranges
Tesla Inc. and News Corp. are among the first facing regulatory actions under New York City’s prominent pay transparency law. Allegations suggest they either omitted salary ranges in job ads or provided wide salary bands that didn’t meet the law’s “good faith” estimate requirement. The Commission on Human Rights of New York City has launched complaints against nearly thirty-six employers and third-party job posting platforms, including ZipRecruiter, Morgan & Morgan P.A., and Mazars USA LLP, between October and December 2023.

Founded in 2022, JobCannon, headquartered in the UK and led by two Ukrainian and two Israeli founders, has rapidly expanded to a team of 35. The company plans to advance its R&D efforts.
